The staff at The Retreat at Church Ranch were an incredible source of support throughout my father’s stay with them. They showed him compassion and caring that made me feel he was in excellent hands when he needed it the most. We were lucky to have them!

Community: a feeling of fellowship with others, as a result of sharing common attitudes, interests, and goals. The Retreat at Church Ranch is a community in the fullest sense. The staff, caregivers and residents have created a lovely environment where everyone looks out for each other. My dad moved here after a hospital stay and rehabilitation. It is a small welcoming environment where everyone cares for each other. The staff and caregivers are excellent at providing exceptionally compassionate assistance. Their patience and understanding are epic. The residents even help each other when they can. Everyone follows the Golden Rule "treat others the way you want to be treated yourself". The property is well maintained and nicely decorated. There are numerous activities each day. The meals are appetizing. This is the right place for my dad to enjoy his final years.

I can not begin to express my gratitude for all the angels that work at this place. My great grandma is in begging stages of dementia and was beginning to isolate because of how embarrassed she was. One of my old co workers recommended this place as she had work there. My nana has been there for about 2 years and she’s the happiest we have seen her. The place has gone through a change and the new administration is doing a great job at keeping this place a lovely place that really cares about their patients.

I'm truly impressed with The Retreat at Church Ranch. I'm not writing this as a resident or as a family member of a resident. I write this as a primary medical provider who's been in a number of senior living facilities. To start with, when you enter the building, it's bright and lively feeling. Everything about the place feels warm and inviting, from the furniture and the wall art, to the inspirational pictures that adorn the walls. I spoke with a couple residents there and they both attested what I already felt, which is the staff truly cares about the residents here. The Retreat at Church Ranch is not a place to go and die, but a place to go and "live out" your final years. It feels like no other senior living facility I've ever been in. I hope this place or another like it is around when it's my time.

I have gone to the Retreat at Church Ranch for many years as a Nurse who visited their facility. I am so very impressed with the care of the residents that live there. They are very interested and involved with the health, safety and happiness of all their residents. They have a wonderful staff that are caring and dedicated. They have excellent management in place that are knowledgeable and strive for excellence. I was so impressed that I recommended several of my patients move into the facility when they needed increased care. I would highly recommend them for consideration for assisted living placement.

Great community good caregivers and consistent leadership

As a therapeutic musician who has worked in the field of geriatrics since 1999, I can say with great confidence, that Retreat at Church Ranch is a very special place where your elder family will not only be well cared for in every way, but treasured. I had the privilege of serving the community at Retreat with therapeutic music for those residents who may not get out of their room as often as they’d like, and serve them with individualized music at the bedside. This is a very unique and special alternative/complementary service that not all retirement communities open their minds and hearts to, but Robin and Cindy do. The staff are warm, the residents are happy, the building inside and out is welcoming, and the overall vibe in the building is extremely positive, which is palpable the minute you walk in the door. In all the retirement communities I have worked in between Maine, California, & Colorado where I’ve practiced, Retreat at Church Ranch is one of the best.

I have known the owners of the Retreat at Church Ranch for many years and have watched them design, build and operate wonderful, assisted living communities. The Retreat is their best! Its recent renovation complements its high-quality care and now ranks among the very best! I visited them yesterday and participated in their holiday’s employee party. I do believe it’s the finest team they’ve ever assembled. I highly recommend them to everyone who needs a family member to be taken care of with competency, heart, and great activities and meals!

Now that my friend has settled into his new home at The Retreat, I’d like to share the comments he’s made over this past month: ~ First and foremost, the people are so friendly here. They take care of my needs and are very respectful. I like the way they treat me. ~ They clean my room! ~ There’s always fresh coffee with the best choice of flavored creamers. ~ The food is good! I’m glad that I have the choice of whether I want to eat in the dining room or have it delivered to my room. On the rare days I don’t care for the meal, I can always order something else. So when I asked my friend if he liked his new home, he replied “I love it here!“

Great place great poeple

My mother has been living at the Retreat for over 3 years. Her quality of life has improved a lot. The staff is positive and very caring for the residents. My mother loves the meals they create. Her health has improved greatly. She enjoys the activities they do each week. The staff is very diligent to keeping the residents safe and protected from COVID.

My wife's family was searching for care facility options for their elderly mother, and were getting no helpful information or assistance. I shared their frustrations with the owners of the Retreat at Church Ranch and quickly learned that the other facilities were not providing clear, concise, and critical information to the family. The family consulted with the Director for The Retreat and gained more insight in an hour than from the previous weeks of futile research. They found a great apartment for their mother, and found significant relief in knowing she had immediate access to skilled 24-hour care. The Retreat at Church Ranch has an ambience that I did not expect - wide halls, light and open feel, an intimate staff and a resident population that's a bit "Goldilocks" - not too big; not too small - just right.

Great place for my parents in the final years of their lives. Very clean facility and good food. The owners are great people. I'd recommend this facility to anyone interested in moving in or placing a loved one.

Mom loves it!

(This is verbatim from a recent family member) An incredible wonderful place. We never dreamed we'd find a home where Mom could be so happy and contented...friendly residents, engaging activities, loving and compassionate caregivers, an atmosphere that really feels like home, and such personalized attention and care...the Retreat is a hidden treasure - a sanctuary for our whole family. Mom found a real home at the Retreat when she could no longer manage on her own. As new health challenges arose, the incredible staff and management always went the extra mile to help her (and us!) get through it. We never had to worry knowing Mom was in such good hands. We'll never be able to fully express how grateful we are for having discovered this absolutely precious place and for the love they lavished on our Mom. Thank you Cindy and Suzie and everyone at the Retreat! You guys are simply the best!
